Mini Orienteering Excursion 2018 held on Saturday, September 29th 2018 at 07.00 until 15.00. The participants are students of the Department of Environmental Geography 2018.

Mini Orienteering was held as an introduction to the environment of the Faculty of Geography campus and its surroundings. This activity is carried out by inviting students of the 2018 Environmental Geography around the campus environment by walking along the route and following the instructions given. The instructions given are in the form of coordinates. Travel routes include posts that have been provided by the committee, containing geography learning posts filled in by the committee. Geography learning held in this activity includes spatial thinking, meteorology and climatology, cartography, and interpretation of remote sensing images.

The activity continued with a series of games carried out at the end point (Forest of Biology). The introduction of the campus environment, geography learning materials, and games that are carried out are expected to produce several outputs, including: the beginning of understanding the spatial thinking needed by a geography learner, training cooperation and a sense of belonging among new students, and as refreshing before The Middle Semester Examination that will be held on October 1, 2018. The activity closes at 15.00 with the distribution of prizes and a photo session together.
