Mitigation and Adaptation to Climate Change

College institutions, in this case, the Faculty of Geography UGM have developed a lot of research related to the distribution and variability of rainfall under the interest of climate change mitigation and adaptation studies and intensified since the last few years. The research team in the interest of this study has produced several research and new findings on various research programs in several regions of Indonesia, such as Yogyakarta, Gunungkidul, Central Java, etc. Some subjects have been studied including the dynamics of the atmosphere, climate change, spatial variations and temporal rainfall, and air pollution. The research road map of the hydrometeorological research group of the Faculty of Geography UGM over the past few years is presented in the figure below.
