[Webinar] Karst Hydrology Research in Indonesia: Progress, Opportunities and Challenges

The HKL Lab monthly discussion on Tuesday, March 19 2024 was held online via the zoom page in two sessions. The first session was material from Dr. Taat Setiawan, S.T., M.T. (Head of the Ground Water Conservation Center, Geological Agency, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia) with the title “Application of Isotope Hydrology in Karst Hydrology Research in Indonesia”. The second session was filled with material from Dr. Tjahyo Nugroho Adji, M.Sc.Tech. (Head of the Environmental Hydrology and Climatology Laboratory, Faculty of Geography, Gadjah Mada University) with the title “Potential of Karst Areas on Java Island in Absorbing Atmospheric Carbon Dioxide”.

The discussion in this webinar is in line with several SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), namely SDGs 6: Clean Water and Sanitation; SDGs 13: Climate Action; SDGs 15: Life on Land.
