Admission of the new students for the Undergraduate Environmental Geography Program at Gadjah Mada University, Regular Pathway, is carried out through:
- Achievement-Based National Selection (SNBP);
- Computer-Based Test National Selection (SNBT);
- Achievement-Based Independent Selection by UGM (Ujian Mandiri UGM-Jalur Prestasi);
- Computer-Based Test Independent Selection by UGM (CBT)

Admission to the International Bachelor of Environmental Geography
Applications and entrance examinations conducted for admission to the International Undergraduate Program in Environmental Geography. and interviews. The admission committee of the International Undergraduate Program in Geography Faculty, Universitas Gadjah Mada holds the entrance examination. All prospective students are to pass the following university admission tests:
- Gadjah Mada Scholastic Test (GMST) and Academic English Proficiency Test (AcEPT) hosted by UGM
- Interview and Leaderless Group Discussion (LGD) based test.
